About us
Hi, I’m Anja! The human behind DogNerd. As a dog trainer, I coach humans through how to better understand and train their dogs. I offer a tailored, holistic approach to dog training and behaviour, suited to each dog’s individual needs.
Behaviour problems can feel overwhelming, and when it comes to dog training, what you put into it is what you get out: patience and consistency are key to lasting behaviour change. At the end of each session I will ensure that you are comfortable carrying out all of the training techniques covered, and that you are clear on what to work on between sessions; although you will be responsible for the consistent work, I am always available between sessions to provide advice, feedback, or answer any questions you may have.
My approach to dog training is rewards-based, and I believe that continuing education is extremely important. I have completed the Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Applied Animal Behaviour, and take CPD courses each month to ensure that I am constantly broadening my knowledge and skills.
